Hydraulic Disc Brake for Drilling Rig
The hydraulic disc brake for drilling rig is an auxiliary brake that slows down the insertion movement of the drill string, improving the braking effect and that engages starting with loads greater than 40 tf. The braking effect is obtained due to the movement of a paddle rotor in the liquid that fills the cavity formed by the paddled stator. The cooling of the liquid, which has passed through the brake, is done with the help of the cooling system.
